LC Valley’s own Dr. Warren ‘Doc’ Ellison, a level 3 hockey official, took the time this last spring to attend a Referee Instruction Seminar in Colorado Springs. Doc can now offer the LC Valley a local referee clinic and will do just that on Sunday, September 19th, with a Level 1, 2, and 3 Referee Seminar. Your support and participation of this Seminar will help ensure the success of our local rink and youth and adult hockey programs. Below are the details:

What:        Level 1, 2, & 3 Referee Seminar
Where:        LC Ice Arena, Lewiston, ID
When:        Clinic will begin at 7:30 am, Sunday, September 19th.

Seminar will last from 8am till 4pm. There will be a break for lunch. Participants must attend the entire class.
Bring:        Skates, Helmet, Whistle

(Note: Idaho residents register in Rocky Mountain District, Washington residents register in Pacific District)

To help with Sunday check-in: BE SURE TO PRE REGISTER PRIOR TO THE SUNDAY CLASS AND BRING YOUR REGISTRATION CONFIRMATIONS WITH YOU. A computer with internet access will be available on Sunday as well.

The class is open to everyone ages 11 (with parent consent) and up.

It is a good way to help learn the game and make some extra cash.

If you are unable to attend the Lewiston Referee Clinic, there is an additional clinic Saturday, October 30th in Moscow, ID.

Members of the board will be available to take registrations and answer questions about LC Hockey. If you're on the fence and not sure about joining as an adult or as a youth come on out and talk to one of the coaches, board members or future players.

September 14, 16, 21 and 23 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm each night at the LC Ice Arena.

Registration Costs

Youth Registration is $400 and if you register before September 23 you will save $25, making the registration cost $375.

Coaching Clinics

Coaching Clinics for levels 1, 2, and 3 will be available this year. They are being hosted up in Moscow, Idaho. We need coaches at all levels and this is a great way to be involved with LC Hockey Youth. If you aren't licensed at all and want to attain a higher level certification you can sign up now and take them all consecutively.
