LCAHA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing hockey to the Lewis Clark Valley. We offer programs to help players learn basic skills and have fun playing hockey.
Lewis Clark Amateur Hockey Association (LCAHA) started in 2006 as a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing Hockey to the Lewiston and Clarkston Valley.
In 2011, LCAHA took over the operations of the local ice rink, the LC Ice Arena. This allowed for greater expansion and flexibility of our programs and the ability to customize these programs to reach more of our youth. LCAHA provides hockey to youth and adults in different age and ability categories as well as a variety of ice skating opportunities for all.
Since we are a non-profit organization we rely on the generosity of local businesses, volunteers, and donations to help to keep our prices low enough for all to take advantage of the ice rink. Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors, donors, and volunteers! We wouldn't be here without you.
Here are some statistics on the ice arena:
Over 5000 public skaters use the rink during the public skating sessions.
LCAHA hosts a minimum of 4 youth tournaments yearly. These tournaments include 200-300 additional visitors, per tournament, from out of town staying locally from Friday through Sunday.
Hells Canyon Hockey club sponsors adult hockey which hosts two adult tournaments bringing in 8-10 other teams and families.
Please consider supporting LCAHA if you don't already!
