LCAHA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing hockey to the Lewis Clark Valley. We offer programs to help players learn basic skills and have fun playing hockey.
Q: What do I need to register for LCAHA Youth Hockey?
A: To register for LCAHA Youth Hockey, you must first be registered with USA Hockey and have a USAH confirmation number. This can be done online at www.usahockeyregistration.com (a fee applies for most age groups).
Once you have obtained your USA Hockey Confirmation you can return here to www.lcaha.org register for Youth Hockey.
Q: How do I register?
A: Go to www.lcaha.org/registration. Find the program you want to register for and click the green "Begin Registration" button. If you would like to preview the registration process first, here's a guide to walk you through it.
Q: When I register online, am I required to pay immediately?
A: No, not at all. After completing the form questions, you are given the option to pay online via PayPal as well as the payment by mail details. You can print the confirmation and pay later if you choose.
Q: Can I still pay online later?
A: Yes! You will create a login during registration (unless you already have) which will allow you to access and pay for your registration online via PayPal at anytime.
Q: I don't have a PayPal account. Can I still pay online?
A: Absolutely! PayPal offers a "guest check out" option for people that don't have or don't want a PayPal account.
Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes. Your sensitive financial information is never collected or stored at lcaha.org or even seen. All online payments are handled via PayPal which uses the industry's most secure data encryption technologies (see PayPal Security). If you are safe, PayPal is safe (see PayPal's Identity Protection Checklist). Plus. if you already have a PayPal account, you don't even have to enter financial info during checkout.
Q: How do I register if I don't want to pay online?
A: Great question! The same way as people who do want to pay online (see above "How do I register?"). You are NOT REQUIRED to pay online during registration at any time. After you've completed the form questions and come to the confirmation page, you're done! You can pay using whatever payment method works best for you. Once you pay, your registration will be complete!
Q: What are ALL my payment options?
A: Payment is accepted online via PayPal, by check via mail (instructions provided during registration) or in person at LC Ice Arena (cash, check, or charge). If you are registering for the upcoming hockey season, you will have the additional option to spread out your payments over the season by providing post dated checks as specified by the registration.
Q: When is payment due?
A: Although payment is expected at the time of registration, payment is due no later than the first practice or session.
During online LCAHA Youth Hockey Registration, you will complete all the necessary forms (e.g. Participant Info, USA Hockey Consent To Treat, USA Hockey Code of Conduct) and be given the option to upload any needed documentation (e.g. birth certificate if needed).
